📜 About the Charity

Har Har Mahadev Sevak is APMT Foundation’s spiritual service initiative, rooted in devotion, duty, and divine service to Lord Shiva. We believe that service to Mahadev’s temples is a form of service to society itself — a way to uplift both the spiritual and physical lives of those who seek peace, blessings, and healing.

Across India, many Shiva temples—especially in rural or remote regions—lack basic amenities for devotees and pilgrims. During Shivratri, Shravan, and other major festivals, these temples become centers of faith and community, yet they are often overwhelmed with poor management, inadequate hygiene, and lack of resources.

This initiative is our tribute to the spirit of selfless devotion, where we don’t just worship but also serve the space of worship—by maintaining cleanliness, distributing food, and helping devotees during peak festival days.

⚠️ Challenges

Spiritual spaces need support—both in spirit and structure. The challenges in temple service are not just logistical but deeply human:

Lack of Facilities at Temples: Many Shiva temples are underfunded and suffer from poor sanitation, drinking water shortages, or broken infrastructure.
Overcrowding During Festivals: During Maha Shivratri, Kanwar Yatra, and other sacred occasions, thousands gather, but there is little organized support.
Food Scarcity for Devotees: Pilgrims often travel long distances without proper meals or rest, especially in rural areas.
Limited Volunteer Presence: There’s a lack of regular, trained volunteers to help manage temple activities and support the elderly, women, and children.
Neglect of Lesser-Known Temples: Smaller temples with immense spiritual value often go unnoticed and uncared for.

✅ How We Are Solving This Problem

Through Har Har Mahadev Sevak, we bring structured, compassionate, and impactful service to Shiva’s devotees and his temples. Here’s what we do:

Volunteer Support During Festivals: Our trained volunteers assist with crowd management, food distribution, first aid, and guiding pilgrims at major events.
Annadaan (Food Donation) Drives: We organize free meal distribution (khichdi, fruits, and water) at temple sites during peak times and daily rituals.
Cleanliness Drives: We clean and maintain the temple premises, bathrooms, and surrounding areas, creating a peaceful and hygienic spiritual environment.
Infrastructure Aid: Where possible, we help restore or repair temple facilities such as water taps, dustbins, and lighting systems.
Celebration Assistance: We support temple committees in organizing devotional programs like bhajans, havans, and spiritual talks.
Spiritual Awareness Campaigns: We promote temple histories, regional Shiva traditions, and forgotten pilgrimage paths to revive cultural pride and participation.

Our goal is to blend spirituality with service — because the best offering to Mahadev is kindness to his people.
