📜 About the Charity

Udyami Odisha Mission is a visionary step by APMT Foundation to empower the youth of Odisha with entrepreneurial skills, innovative thinking, and business mentorship. In a time when job opportunities are shrinking and migration is on the rise, we believe that the key to change lies in self-employment and local enterprise development.

This mission encourages people, especially students, unemployed youth, and women, to dream big — and create their own path through small businesses, startups, and community enterprises. It’s about planting the seeds of ideas and giving people the tools, knowledge, and motivation to grow them into successful ventures.

We aim to turn Odisha from a land of job-seekers into a land of job-creators.

Even though Odisha is rich in talent and natural resources, several challenges hinder entrepreneurial growth:

Lack of Awareness: Many people don't know how to start or manage a business.
Limited Access to Training: Rural areas have little exposure to entrepreneurship workshops or mentorship programs.
Fear of Failure: Cultural hesitation and risk-averse mindsets stop many from taking the first step.
No Seed Funding Support: Talented individuals often have no access to capital or investors.
Gender Gap: Women, especially in villages, are underrepresented in the business ecosystem.
