📜 About the Charity

“We Love Odisha, We Serve Odisha” is a heartful initiative by APMT Foundation that celebrates the soul of Odisha — its heritage, nature, culture, people, and untold stories. While Odisha is home to majestic temples, rich traditions, and breathtaking natural beauty, much of it remains undiscovered and underappreciated.

This initiative is focused on boosting local pride, increasing awareness, and inviting the world to witness the unexplored magic of Odisha. From hidden waterfalls to forgotten temples, from rare art forms to local legends — we work to preserve, promote, and pass them on to the next generation.

We believe that when people see the value in their roots, they grow stronger.

⚠️ Challenges

Despite being a state rich in culture and diversity, Odisha faces several issues in representation and recognition:

Low Tourism Promotion: Many of Odisha’s most beautiful destinations are unknown or ignored due to lack of media presence.
Vanishing Traditions: Traditional art, dance, rituals, and festivals are fading as newer generations move away.
Cultural Disconnection: Youth in cities are often unaware of their rich local heritage.
Lack of Infrastructure and Support: Remote scenic places remain inaccessible or poorly maintained.
No Platform for Local Artists: Folk musicians, tribal painters, and craftspeople struggle to find recognition.

✅ How We Are Solving This Problem

This project is a love letter to Odisha, and we’re turning it into action through:

Digital Storytelling: Creating documentaries, photo stories, and blogs that bring attention to hidden gems of Odisha.
Heritage Walks and Local Tours: Organizing guided experiences for students, families, and tourists.
Youth Engagement Programs: Encouraging schools and colleges to include heritage and Odisha culture activities.
Art & Craft Exhibitions: Showcasing local talents and traditional artists through fairs and online platforms.
Clean-Up Drives at Heritage Sites: Combining tourism with preservation through environment-friendly cleanups.
Cultural Workshops: Teaching children and youth about Odissi dance, Pattachitra painting, tribal folklore, etc.
Collaboration with Local Guides and Artisans: Creating livelihoods by helping locals earn through tourism and culture.

We want every Odia to feel proud of their roots, and every outsider to fall in love with our land.
